Providing critical support to men and youth since 2024
Understanding the scale of the challenges men face
Ugandan men experience mental health issues
(Ministry of Health Uganda, 2022)Of family court cases involve unrepresented men
(Uganda Judiciary Report, 2023)Male youth unemployment rate (ages 18-30)
(UBOS, 2023)In 2020, Kush Ivan Omagor witnessed firsthand the silent suffering of men in his community. After his friend lost custody of his children and tragically took his own life, Ivan recognized the systemic neglect of men facing emotional trauma, legal injustice, and societal pressure.
Determined to act and fueled by his own traumatic journey, Ivan gathered a few affected men with similar cases to talk, listen, and heal. That humble beginning has since grown into the Omagor Men’s Foundation—one of Uganda’s most active voices for men and youth’s mental health, legal advocacy, mentorship, and social reintegration.
"We don't want special treatment – just equal consideration. When men thrive, entire families and communities benefit."
